Pricing:
Sites are $18.00 per night
Electricity is an additional $7.00 per night (optional, but available at all sites and the shelter)  20-30-50 amp electricity is now installed on all sites at all parks.
Dock are available for an additional $4.00 per night from the caretaker.  There are 5, double-sided docks available for campers.  Only site 9 has a designated dock.
Shelter is $15.00 per day (electricity is available, see above for fee)

Camping Season:
Morris-Erickson campground is generally open from the first week in May through the last week in October.
Reservations open the first working day of the year at 8:00 AM and run from May through mid-September.
Parks remain open through the end of October.  
From mid-September through October, self-registration camping is available on a first come, first served, basis.
Check in and Check out time is 1 PM.
Day Park is open to the public between the hours of 9 am and 10 pm. 
Please note:  all non-camping guests must vacate the campground prior to 10 pm.

Campground:
Morris-Erickson Campground and Day Park is located on the pristine waters of Long Lake – so clear that scuba diving is a taught on this lake!  The park is located 3.5 miles northeast of the intersection of County Highway M and State Highway 40.  Watch for our welcome sign on State Highway 40.  The boat launch is for campground guests, day park users, and the public.  Please remember, ATV’s are prohibited on State Highway 40 and in the park itself.

Playground is behind the bathrooms and features a grassy area with benches.

  
Swings are located closer to the picnic area.
 
Morris-Erickson has a sanitary dump station located inside the campground by the small parking lot - $2 for park guests, $6 for visitors.   Firewood is available from the caretakers for $6.00 or from the dispenser for $6.50.

Morris-Erickson County Park is named after two of our founding Chippewa County Board members.  Arnt Erickson and John Morris were integral in our Town, County, and State governments in the early 1900’s and were passionate about outdoor recreation.  Is it because of their service that the County is able to offer many of the outdoor opportunities provided to the public today.
 
Shelter:
The Day Park is available for the public and campground guests.  A beach with swimming area, playground equipment, picnic shelter, grills, picnic tables are all available for your enjoyment!  The shelter at Morris-Erickson is available for reservation per day for $15.00 without electricity and $22.00 with the electric turned on.  The shelter building measures 23’ x 25’ and holds approximately 50 people.  The shelter includes picnic tables and garbage cans with grills nearby.

Location Area
Long Lake is a 936 acre lake located in the Town of Sampson. It has a maximum depth of 101 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is very clear.
